The heavily worn roller is the one on the underside of the chain, and the other is the one sitting higher up.
First off, could someone tell me what "the other" does? Is it for when the suspension is compressed to max after a high jump? It looks brand new!
Secondly, is it worth just changing the worn one with "the other"?
Or should I order a new set?

@calum how important are they? Seems to be quite hard to get hold of new

Fairly important if you find your chain slackens

@calum really? Seems to be genuine. Can't get them much cheaper from what I can find.

@calum were the rollers from the Yamaha factory "grooved" like the one you linked or straight like the one I linked? Perhaps my existing isn't in desperate need if replacing.

@irongamer727 No, the OEM ones are flat.

But I dunno, seems a lot for some chain rollers if you ask me.

Good news! Found flat chain rollers in a local shop nearby. Will get them for sure. So much nicer than having to wait until April 20th if I ordered from eBay.

What do you think about making a chain roller from wood? Stupid idea?

@irongamer727 yeah that’s pretty stupid dude 😉 why would you want to do that they’re only a few pounds and the wood would rot chip splinter and just not function properly I really don’t see an upside to using wood unless you do?

@declan it's harder than it seems to get a decent chain roller that doesn't include 3 weeks shipping.
