Rear suspension too hard.

Hi, figured out what is causing my DT to weave at high speeds and the rear suspension is way too hard compared to the front. It is a 2003 DT 125 R, with no one on the bike what is the rear sag roughly for a 2003 dt. On my bike with no one on it and the bike stood level if I pull up on the rear mudguard there is no sag at all not even a mm as when I pull up on the mudguard the bike comes off the floor. Is there any way to adjust the preload on the rear shock, how can I tell if there is a jack up kit
on it. thanks -
As far as I'm aware, DT shocks were always piss poor and non-adjustable.
That said, I've never had any issues with my RE, always felt the shock was adequate enough for road use.
I don't think they're serviceable either, so it'll have to be a replacement one.

Static sag is 10% of total travel of the rear shock, race sag is 30%.- This is a very good rule of thump for every dirtbike/dualsport/mx bike out there.
My dtr has spring preload at the bottom. its easier to remove the shock to adjust it, however yours could be damaged, it the preload is wound op a lot!

Here is my rear suspension, are the dog bones standard as my rear suspension is too high.

Theres a lot of preload on that spring, compared to the picture i found. So thats why it stiff, and the rear is higher in the air than it should.
Its hard to tell if dogbones are stock from a pic, but they look like it.

@2stroketerry have you cleaned and greased your dog bone bushings mine were dry and full of dirt so my rear suspension was non existent im talking nothing at all

Just got the bike recently and working outdoors so haven't had the chance to do many jobs on it yet due to the weather.
