Hi lads, iv recently bought a dt 125 r with intentions of rebuilding it. Struck myself a bargain at £250. Obviously has a few issues hence the price but is running. It didn’t come with a v5 or a number plate but the lad said it was dorm how to I go about getting one. Thanks in advance 👍🏻

You fill in the DVLA form and send it off with £28, you'll need to know the reg number

Should be able to get the registration number from the frame numbers.

If there are no frame numbers, then the bikes a ringer.

@kylejordan The chassis number will be stamped on the frames head tube, but you won't be able to check it until you get the V5. However you can do a HPI check and if a previous owner inputed the frame number you could check it that way. If no-one has inputed it onto HPI's system then you will just have to wait for the V5 sadly, which takes about 6 weeks to come through!!!
