    I’ve ridden a Duke, and it’s a weapon!

Really good chassis, and revvy motor. Brakes were excellent.

Forgot about the KTM Duke 390.

    That’s 2 votes from us @Calum πŸ€™

@Darty Brakes? They just slow you down, don't worry about that.

I dislike KTM really. Too expensive and I am poor! I like Aprilia because you get a lot for the money.

I do like those KTMs though. Would love to drop a smoker engine into that chassis.

@Calum @Darty my mate has a KTM Duke and I am considering one but I don't really know how much money I want to spend and most seem to be upward of three grand or the other side of the country...

@Calum @Darty so in the end I bought a Kawasaki Ninja BX250. It's also the super light version which is much better for me as it's not that much heavier than the DT either. Got my Mod 1 and 2 booked in so hopefully that'll all go smoothly too!

I mean, it's 152KG, as opposed to 116kg DTR. And it only makes 26hp. So it will be slower than a DTR.

@SpookDog nice bike, along with the RVF400, but dayum they are small.

@Calum I failed so unfortunately it's got to sit in the garage a little longer... 😞

Still 40kg heavier is better than 80kg cause I wouldn't be able to pick that up if I dropped it lol

and yeah the acceleration won't be like travelling through warp speed like it is on the DT, but at least it will sit at 75 without being on the limiter!

I am very happy with my buzzing Aprilia. That will glide along at 90 and scream to 100+ (indicated it's Italian so take that with a pinch of salt).

Either way, it's fast enough for me. I only ride locally.

Sorry to hear that you failed πŸ˜•
