Gianelli vs. DEP
-
I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the dep to be honest. For the money you pay it will corrode and I was adamant about cleaning.
There have been a lot of Stainless Steel ones come on the market in recebt times so I bought one of those. Never used it but sold the Dep.
Tge good thing about deps were that at least it held its value. And did perform nicely.
No experience with the Giannelli sorry.

I don't know if there's a difference between the DTR and DTX exhausts, but I recently bought the Full gianelli system for my DTX to replace my DEP Expansion and Big one silencer, I cant say that I've noticed much performance difference between them though. I only replaced it because it was rusty and both parts of the exhaust didn't match.

@CYBER-NINJA I noticed a big difference.
The dep pipe is so much lighter as well. So there is that added bonus.
You can't fault the DEP on performance. It was 10/10 in my book. And it's not overly expensive. It was just really high maintenance. If it was stainless steel or something then that would have been better.

Big one maybe?
I just looked at the Big One pipe and that was the one which is held on by spring clips - "For that true motocross racing look!" Allegedly a 15% gain too.
The Giannelli looks the best bet to me, it all depends on whether my bike sells soon or not? If it doesn't sell then I may have to splash the cash!!! ;O)
I just love the tiney 2T zing you get from these derestricted pipes, skip to 5.30mins;
