    I don't know if there's a difference between the DTR and DTX exhausts, but I recently bought the Full gianelli system for my DTX to replace my DEP Expansion and Big one silencer, I cant say that I've noticed much performance difference between them though. I only replaced it because it was rusty and both parts of the exhaust didn't match.

          Does anyone know if either one of the DEP or Giannelli front pipes offer a performance boost over a stock derestricted and gutted pipe???

          Thanks

            @CYBER-NINJA I noticed a big difference.

            The dep pipe is so much lighter as well. So there is that added bonus.

            You can't fault the DEP on performance. It was 10/10 in my book. And it's not overly expensive. It was just really high maintenance. If it was stainless steel or something then that would have been better.

              @Calum Thanks Calum, I prefer the Giannelli over the DEP, as I just do not like how the DEP is secured by just springs. Call me old school, but I much prefer a nut and bolt holding my exhaust manifold onto the engine!!! ;O)

                      I just looked at the Big One pipe and that was the one which is held on by spring clips - "For that true motocross racing look!" Allegedly a 15% gain too.

                      http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-DT125R-RE-X-1988-2007-Performance-Big-One-Racing-Exhaust-System-/322199632874?hash=item4b04983bea:g:dPAAAOSw7FRWXF4-

                      The Giannelli looks the best bet to me, it all depends on whether my bike sells soon or not? If it doesn't sell then I may have to splash the cash!!! ;O)

                      I just love the tiney 2T zing you get from these derestricted pipes, skip to 5.30mins;
