Gianelli vs. DEP

Hi!
I'm looking for a new exhaust for my '95 DT 125R - I already have a Gianelli silencer (came with the bike when I bought it) so the cheapest way I guess is the Gianelli header, though I am also considering the complete DEP system because I am familiar with the quality from my dirtbikes.
So, which is the way to go, and why? Are there a big difference, performance wise? -

I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the dep to be honest. For the money you pay it will corrode and I was adamant about cleaning.
There have been a lot of Stainless Steel ones come on the market in recebt times so I bought one of those. Never used it but sold the Dep.
Tge good thing about deps were that at least it held its value. And did perform nicely.
No experience with the Giannelli sorry.

I've had no experience with the gianelli but the dep seems to rust very quickly but give a good performance, but a stainless front pipe can be bought cheaper than a dep expansion chamber and give an even better performance might be worth looking into ?

I don't know if there's a difference between the DTR and DTX exhausts, but I recently bought the Full gianelli system for my DTX to replace my DEP Expansion and Big one silencer, I cant say that I've noticed much performance difference between them though. I only replaced it because it was rusty and both parts of the exhaust didn't match.

Does anyone know if either one of the DEP or Giannelli front pipes offer a performance boost over a stock derestricted and gutted pipe???
Thanks

The dep pipe is so much lighter as well. So there is that added bonus.
You can't fault the DEP on performance. It was 10/10 in my book. And it's not overly expensive. It was just really high maintenance. If it was stainless steel or something then that would have been better.

@Calum Thanks Calum, I prefer the Giannelli over the DEP, as I just do not like how the DEP is secured by just springs. Call me old school, but I much prefer a nut and bolt holding my exhaust manifold onto the engine!!! ;O)

I just looked at the Big One pipe and that was the one which is held on by spring clips - "For that true motocross racing look!" Allegedly a 15% gain too.
The Giannelli looks the best bet to me, it all depends on whether my bike sells soon or not? If it doesn't sell then I may have to splash the cash!!! ;O)
I just love the tiney 2T zing you get from these derestricted pipes, skip to 5.30mins;
