Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference between the early Dtr headlight reflector units that used the old bulb type and the later dtre units that I imagine were fitted with Halogen bulbs? Or were they?...
I’ve fitted a few different bulbs to my old type headlight reflector unit and the beam placement is shite at best...
I know that the later RE bikes have far superior magneto power outputs, as well as DC ‘battery assisted’ headlights. I just want to know if I can retrofit a decent bulb somehow? Or need to change the reflector?...

@spookdog I fitted a h10 xenon I believe to my stock headlight and that was like the sun lol I still have the box I'll get you the exact model I only used it once I switched to a cheap ktm headlight I don't ride night so it's not a problem to me
