    Im having trouble fitting a power valve. Im confused because on the engine it says num 1- num 2 cables then on the unit it says 2-1 so from what I've looked at in other units(youtube) cable 1 goes to numb 2 and cable 2 goes to numb 1 on the power unit but i am having real trouble getting the cables on and when i do i canโ€™t seem to line the power valve ( engine side) up to the hole to set it. Or am i putting cables on totally wrong ?. Can anyone help ?

      @andyjack yes that's correct, 1 goes to 2 and 2 to 1. They don't cross. Obviously use the adjusters to slacken the cable first.

        @andyjack

        Ditto:
        1 to 2
        2 to 1

        No idea why but it fucked me up in the beginning ๐Ÿ˜œ

          @SpookDog i agree. Can't think of any reason Yamaha would do that with the numbers on the cables other than to confuse us. I imagine it's caught a lot of people out.
