      Hello there and welcome.

      Oh awesome congratulations!

      Is it a UK model? How many miles has it done?

      Is it ready to ride or do you need some work to get it there?

      Throw up any questions and I'm sure we will get some answers for you.

            @gazza76

            On my 88 the side stand switch has just been disconnected. Mine is a bit weird though. I’ve got 2 relays under the seat, both connected. Also got spare wires near the CDI that I think turned out to be a clutch switch, and something to do with an electric start!

            The engine cut out works by the black and white (or yellow, been a long time since I last looked) earthing to the frame. That’s why disconnecting them lets it spark…
            I’ll try and get a pic of the wiring loom…

              Check out 21

              Also looks like you have a clutch switch on your lever~perch?…

              I don’t know where to get a relay from…

              It also appears that you got a ‘Read’ switch
              number 11 on the ‘key’ page…

              You don’t have an electric start button on your throttle side switch gear, do you…

              Good luck bud, it’ll be a niggley stupid thing that one of the nine previous has inflicted. You’ll get there…

                    the neutral switch is part of the side stand curcuit. its when you take it out of neutral and put it into gear that it cuts out the engine, i think. someone who has one fitted would be more 100% more definite than me who doesnt have one fitted...

                    its probly best to follow the wires from the side stand switch and see what they leed to...
