    Hey guys, rebuilt dt bottom end today but I've somehow assembled the clutch wrong. All the plates are there and in the same order but it's constantly dissengaged - both pushrods and ball bearing are in place. Anyone done similar or got a good video on YouTube that shows the assembly? As usual the Haynes manual is hard to understand with not enough pictures

      It COULD be the same problem I had. I missed one tiny piece of info and did not have one of the pieces rotated correctly

        if this IS your issue, then the piece of the clutch I was turning needs to be taken off and turned until it fits in with the notch on the outer basket.

            I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!!! Thanks mightyman, I had to go down to the garage and see what you were talking about and yep - that was my problem too, had no idea the clutch face only has one one to go on !!! Beginners mistake, thanks again - I've been searching google and YouTube for this - should have asked here hours ago.
