returning member stolen bike finally fixed and on the road/project

so its been a while and my bikes a bit of a mess still after thieves got their hands on it but here she is now needing a bit tlc but im taking it one step at a time, not being as mechanically minded as you pros

@dtrick125r Welcome back, was the bike written off or recorded as stolen and recovered???

neither i just took it on the chin with hopes of fixing everything when i came into a bit ££, only took 3 years but the ideal opportunity as a bike courier came up which was enough to get me to crack on with it (also the fact the guy that was caught with it only got 12 month community service and no order to pay for the repairs was kind of daunting lol)

Yeah I've got quite a list in my mind from eBay, good news is they hadn't done much damage to the engine as it was run in properly just before it was stolen. The bad news is wiring problems, bowl of spaghetti behind the headlight, connectors that have been taped over and lead nowhere and I can't run my lights without pretty much instantly losing half my battery charge, leaving me with no horn and dim lights. Suggestions would be great like lads. Thew on a cheap tail tidy temporarily aswell but if anyone could link me to one made for the frame that'd be great too

As for a tail tidy, if you want to keep the rear handle section on the frame you might have to have the tail light and number plate bracket as separate bolt ons

@dtrick125r This one is not the cheapest, but I've heard that it fits the DT very well and looks the mutts nutts when installed;

Cheers for the replies lads, and by the looks of it, that nice black and green dtre you just found on eBay is only 10miles from me, I'm thinking more parts and options than Il know what to do with if I can nab that bad boy
