@declan Yeah you have to wait for the upload to complete.
If you actually visit the upload page you would see the image has been uploaded, but you need to wait until the image embeds itself within the page before hitting submit.

I can literally see all the images people have uploaded.
You have submitted the post when it says upload 100% tells me you haven't waited long enough.
That will disappear then the image will appear.
You can upload images to anywhere you like and embed them into this forum, you don't have to use the upload button.
The fact of the matter is that the upload is going to be slow as it gets uploaded through a small pipe to my small computer.
It would be faster uploading it to imgur yourself.

Just upgraded the forum software to the latest version, if you were wondering why the site went down.

@CYBER-NINJA Yeah, my other router died on me now which is a shame.
This Virgin router is really intermittent.
We had a powercut the other day, first time for a long time, and that took ages for everything to come back online.

@Calum I have a recurring dream of being a Virgin customer with lightening fast net speeds. ?They told me 18 months ago it was coming and they were gonna lay the cables in my street, but alas I'm still stuck with crappy BT!!!

I will say this though, when the internet did come back online, I downloaded Prey (video game) at 10MB/s which I have never had here before. That was 30GB in less than an hour!
SuperFast

@CYBER-NINJA Only for you.
Edit is fine for me...
Browser Cache probably needs refreshing.
Like you will notice if the forum goes down, you can still visit the current page or even the home page because the browser caches this information..
Unfortunately it's not clear from your side when things get updated!

@Calum I've just cleaned my browser cache and the edit feature is still missing. Interestingly it's only on this thread, as it's there on all others.
wrote on 20 May 2017, 12:41 last edited by@CYBER-NINJA Ah if it's on this thread then it might be moderators only.
