Temp gauge trouble shooting
-
@terry-tz mine doesent read at all and my bike warms up real quick faster than my 4 stroke it gets really hot but just seems that it's the way the engine likes it tbh since I don't cruise any where it's always full throttle If the roads clear
-
@declan ye same and I'm not sure I think it moves a tiny bit il take a photo and just look like a d!ck later and keep at in the band everywhere I go I can imagine the looks now when I'm at traffic lights with my purple helmet
-
I have an universal temp gauge on my radiator, wrosk good.
Goes on pretty hard, but fits both my Dt and my wr250r@jens-eskildsen does yours sit on 20 when cold why does it do this they all seem to?
-
Havent noticed, but I tested at boiling temp and it was spot on.

@declan maybe it's a slight miss measure they are made in China and cost next to nothing do they measured by pressure
-
yea you can measure temp with pressure @declan don't know how accurate it is low temps that what made me wonder but it's probably just inaccurate at low temps dou to chinessium
-
@terry-tz I got no idea how hot it gets I have no way of knowing I haven't used it since installing that cap
-
Also, when the bike is shut off, them temperature gauge isnt touching the water properly.
Mine was dead set at 20C yesterday, but so was actual temp.

@jens-eskildsen if you have the same one as me I'm certain that it will always be on 20 when cold
