Missing engine numbers won't affect your MOT either, it's only the frame number they check.

Well most bikes you can't even see the engine number that easily, and the MOT testers guide on the DVLA website doesn't even mention it so I'm pretty sure

Just spray mace in the testers eyes! Only checked the frame vin when I took my 88 for mot.
@oldman well if you think about it aswell when police pull you over they only run the frame number to ID Your bike

I've never heard of checking the engine number on Mot ... All they did ever to me was frame (VIN) number on head tube
