@declan Of course there is a manual mate. Give it an oil change if you think it is required. Can't go wrong with that.

Is that snapped off or missing?

Either way there is your problem.

        No biggie though, easy fix.

I did that on my DT. I managed to unscrew it somehow anyway. Luckily I have a spare engine so I could fix it right away.

@calum the threaded cylinder is snapped so I have no thread to screw one back into unless I can helicoil or something similar

@declan It's not totalled mate. You can take it to someone competent, they will just drill the existing bolt out without damaging the thread. Simples.

@declan Oh ryt, yeah, you would need to tig it back on.

I've seen these happen before when someone tries to under the clutch center bolt without the proper tool.

Yeah, again, it's not the end of the world. A piece of bar can be machined out and tig welded into place. But you're probably better off getting a new basket.

@calum wouldn’t be able to afford one by luck there’s a second hand one on eBay 20 pound but it’s not in the best of condition but I really don’t have a choice

@declan Well at least you know what the exact problem is now, for good measure though I'd disassemble that clutch entirely and see what it looks like... could give you an idea on how the previous owner treated it.

@minia don’t suppose you could ask your pals if they know of a clutch hub that drops right in I’ve found one or two but can’t be 💯 sure

@declan Honestly, I don't think they'll know. They're young fools so it's more about enjoying it until it breaks rather than keep it running... I can ask them if they know contacts of people who'd be able to supply the parts you need. But since my mates are french it will complicate things. You can look online on forums and facebook.

As long as you have the part numbers of what you need, you can phone up any motorcycle parts distributor and hope that if they don't have the part they know the contact details of someone who can get it for you.
