Well sadly the other major disaster I had whilst working on my bike this weekend, was that I snapped the square socket bar on my trusty torque wrench. I purchased it from Halfords about 20 years ago, so god knows where the receipt is for it? Anyways I popped in there this morning to see if I could buy a new socket bar and to my surprise they said that all tools are covered by a lifetime warranty and swapped it for a brand new one FOC and thus saved me £100.
Honestly I could not have ran outa there fast enough!!! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:
