Just polished the romeru pipe you can get the stainless up quite nice with a bit of elbow grease and some autosol ..... http://imgur.com/gallery/0HRcGQF
I have now acquired a spare 3mb head and barrel to get bored / or not ..... ported polished blasted and powdercoated pics to follow .... -
@stinkwheeler Go on then, how long you spend doing that!
That's impressive. I've never been able to understand how you polish metals!
-
@stinkwheeler Very shiny indeed, she looks beautiful. To keep her looking like that use this stuff to protect her;
(And you can upload images direct to the thread, just click the camera icon, select photo, click OK and then wait till it's 100% processed before posting).

@Calum i literally used blue roll and autosol and rubbed in in circles i did spend a good 3 - 4 hours though.... and im still not entirely happy i will do it again another once or twice before i put it on and thanks ninja will give that a try

@stinkwheeler :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Just reduce the picture size on your camera, I always use 1920 x 1080 res and have NP's uploading any pics.
-
@Glynn123 That's the heat affect, which is caused by the metal's properties changing due to the prolonged exposure to the heat being pushed through it. Which is more noticeable on welding seams as the weld causes the molecules in the metal to change slightly, which affect's the metals properties and causes discoloration in the ends of the metal pipes. Only a surface coating like chrome plating will hide those blue and orange tints for-sure, otherwise they will return as you have stated.
@stinkwheeler If you lowered the picture res to 1920 x 1020, you will also be able to store more pics on your camera, as each photo will take up less space on your memory card.
