Can anybody tell me the stock size pilot jet for a 1998 dt125r.the carb is a mikuni tm28ss.manual is only giving me the sizes for vm26ss

Is the carb still the flatslide? My 04 DTRE had a 12.5 pilot

@Glynn123 yes it's a flatside.

Yeah, will be 12.5 id say as they dropped the pilot sizes in later models for emissions, my bike seems to like 25 pilot and 150 main with 125 bore, snorkel removed and aftermarket exhaust. Located in sunny Scotland so climate may be slightly cooler

@admiral323 yeah sounds a similar climate, ofcourse jetting is dependent on many factors, but generally I've found the standard DT jetting, especially on late models were way lean.
