      Got an interesting one, when testing the spark, plug earthed ignition on, kick bike one big blue spark and then nothing. Ignition off, then turn ignition on, kick bike over, one big blue spark and then nothing, this can be repeated over and over, I'm thinking dead coil?

        Seen this numerous times. Side stand switch is the usual culprit.

              Ok, not the side stand switch then or the kill switch or the neutral switch

                Loop the side stand switch out. This is where I've seen intermittent spark happen before.
