3MB00 "P" barrel, head and powervalve
-
What do 3MB00 P cylinders with 3MB head and powervalve go for these days. Have the P stamped cylinder with a 56mm bore and nice smooth powervalve along with a mint 3MB head. Anyone know what price for these bits roughly so can
list on ebay. cheers

That's not the head for that cylinder.
The 3MB00 head that matches that barrel has no markings except a matching P.
That said, 3MB heads are fetching good price now. Despite what some say, that head is worth £60+ all day long now. I've yet to see comparable prices for such a clean head.
Personally, having owned and installed the 3MB00P barrel, it's worth no more than a 3MB barrel.

@Calum yes got the head but knackered and yes the porting is not much better than standard 3mb barrel. Got a 4FU barrel with powervalve and better porting but snapped ring ruined the nikasil plating so needs a sleeve or repair and replate.

@theportingmaster The exhaust port window is raised 1mm to allow great top end power. But is under utilised until an after market CDI is used. That was my experience anyway

Aye, you'll need a full set, the market seems very niche now. I bought a complete but needed to be restored, TZR125 4DL top end £120 not so long ago, which seems cheap nowadays.

@Calum so does £70 including tracked delivery seem ok for the 3MB head as only done a few hours. What price would you say for my other 3MB with thermostat and temperature sender on it. cheers
