Power valve servo

2006 dtr when I turn ignition on the power valve opens then closes like it should but it sounds like the servo it's trying to move still can someone tell me why it's doing this please thanks

Have you checked power valve is clean?

Is it adjusted properly? It might be being blocked and not able to complete its cleaning cycle.

It should look like this, use new seals to refit and make sure powervalve enclosure is also clean. Take care not to lose locating pins in middle of powervalve when removing.

Only kidding, no need to polish, just make sure its clean of deposits and carbon
