    Hi everyone new to DT's so go easy on me. Purchased a 97 model yesterday 11/07/20 and I'm going to restore it what I would like me to know please is are the decals year percific or just generally stuck any old stickers on. The thing is I can't find my exact decal pattern. Not sure if all that makes sense. 👍🏼👍🏼

      @Deltadeano Decals are according to model.

      So even 97 had varying decals for each model.

      It depends on how "Accurate" you want your restoration to be. Do you want your bike as is out the factory? Or are you happy with any bike from that year, not specifically your bike.

          @Deltadeano A dealer would know.

          It depends on how picky you want to be. Some members want it to be exactly as it left the showroom

              @Deltadeano Yeah doesn't help because they could be aftermarket panels.

              There are stickers on the chassis which tell you the model of the bike and what colour and graphics went with it. But typically a 97 black DTR could look like...

                  @Deltadeano I have the same DTR as in the first picture. Black with grey/red pattern.
                  Ordered decals from Ebay. About £30-40 for a complete set. Didn't expect it to be like original, but it was not even close to the real thing. Color didn't match and fit was a bit off. Also, I got a few air bubbles, but that I can blame myself for, I guess.

                    Hazard Graphics in Nottingham make loads of DT decals - look them up on Facebook or Ebay 😉
