      On the 1989 dtr
      There is a small plug on cdi that has a pale blue wire and a dark blue wire the dark blue appears to go to the clocks?

      Then there is a different blue that goes from the ignition to the switch gear and also branches off into a twin bullet connector
      Can some one explain what these wires do I think one is for the bulbs in the clocks but dont understand why one goes to switch gear

        The blue wire connects to the neutral switch lightbulb in the clocks. The skyblue cable connects to the neutral switch, which lies down at the gear lever.

          @yannikmeister
          Thank you
          Does the other blue go from. The ignition an to the 3 pin plug on the switch gear and also branch off to the 2 pin bullet to feed the clock bulbs
          Even though this wire is the same colour as neutral wire the one from the ignition doesn't meet with the other that goes to neutral light does it

              @yannikmeister Fair play, I mean I am English and even I glossed over reading that 🤣 so you are doing well regardless
