    Hi guys, looking to fit some frame guards on the dt as im sick of boot rub, anyone had luck fitting early yz ones? If so what years fit, if not any ideas what might fit on there?

        Dont think so as the DT-WR frame is heavily based on the 1989 YZ125/250 frame so quite different to the DT-R one

            @calum No problem - I've got a 200WR and TDR125 frame side by side here for comparison so can tell quite quickly as the TDR is 99% DT-R anyways 😉

              They were made officially for the 125RE as an accessory by Yamaha but I've not been able to find any left

                If it's that based on early yz frames do you think that's a possibility? There's a couple of reasonable ufo sets on eBay for 91-92 and 93-95 yz 125/250 , mine spends a lot its time on trails n in woods and I'm fed up with the boot rub and trying to match paint lol.

                  @rking7888 not sure tbh as they are different so no idea how close they are for this type of fit

                  You could always make some yourself from some 3mm (or similar) aluminium sheet and attach to the rear brake MC bolts
