Evening all, My DT seems to have a butchered loom, the engine is assembled but i need to get a spark, everything is chopped up, I will buy a Haynes to remedy this, or a replacement loom if possiblem, but for now i just need to get it running. Can anybody tell me what wires i need to have plugged in to allow it to run. I do know the black and orange ones were on the coil. That is all, Many thanks. Photos of loom.

@89dt125nick I can't really help you on this but I have a Haynes manual for your model so if you have an email address I can send you pictures of the wiring diagram and any other pages you may need.

@markus-w Hi markus, thats very kind of you, i have found a screengrab of the wiring online, i have also managed to get a spark from the loom (whats left of it) unfortunately, the whole ignition has been bypassed so it will run without any keys, but at least i have a spark! Also thanks to callum for fixing my links.
