      Question on the temperature sensor , the sensor I have for engine that goes in the cylinder it tightens up good going into the engine about half way the. Gets tight , too tight in my opinion to keep going with incase of thread damage any ideas

        @mhbikesnbits Is it not a tapered thread on those? So it's self sealing.

        I can't remember but I thought the thread on those are tapered.

          @mhbikesnbits yes as Calum said they are tapered to ensure a tight fit. I always use PTFE tape as well. I also know that the sensor was updated a few times over the run of the dt125r so make sure you have the correct model year. My bike is 1999 but my sensor is only for 1998-2002. They are different.
