Anyone speak Portuguese?
-
I’m trying to but an exhaust from Henrique Romeu but am having trouble with communication. Anyone dealt with the man before? Or can help?
-
@SpookDog im Portuguese
-
Would you be willing to translate for me?
If so I’ll send you my email address
It would be a massive help... -
@Calum I have heard that since the UK has entered / completed Brexit. Romeu won’t deal with UK / customers outside of the EU - because shipping costs are too high / taxes etc.
I’d be keen for a RH pipe, one of the best about I would say, never hear a bad thing about them! My DEP is cooked and will need replacing next year but based on how long mine lasted and how much I paid (from new), it’s a total waste!
-
@SpookDog yes, no problem
-
@GoProKid95 I think he quickly reversed that decision as it isn't that hard to import into the UK.
-
@Calum
I gave him the site address in an email. I’m hoping that he’ll post on here somewhere. Would definitely make it easier for people who are interested in his product, when there are bilingual members here willing to help -

It’s basically a quality stainless steel pipe that will last for ever if cared for, for the same price (or cheaper depending on tailpipe) as a 1mm thin dep!...
What’s not to like!
It works out at about £340 for the pipe I want, which is the more expensive pop riveted tailpipe version. The basic welded tailpipe is £50 odd cheaper... -
@Calum oh that’s actually sick!! I couldn’t order because of that. I’d be keen to have one of his pipes as my dep is done for!!
-
@SpookDog indeed, I did wonder about buying a dep and having it dipped straight away, but honestly I don’t think you can prevent them from rusting…
I’m really hoping Romeu joins the forum so we can start getting his pipes back!!!
-
How much would having it plated cost? You’d probably have to have the nickel removed. It’s not gonna be a good base...

@SpookDog he certainly is shipping to UK as I spoke to him for you recently. Did he not contact you? He does most of his trade on Facebook as he has a very good English speaking team running his Facebook account.

@SpookDog
Are you buying a standard kinda,,, off the shelf pipe or have you specified one for what your running ? As in 125 top end or 170 bigger carb etc ?? -
@Scootjockey I bought one off him for my 170. Although not 'off the shelf' they're all made to order, it is the standard exhaust same as for a 125. He recommended this and told me that only if the 170 was heavily ported then it would change albeit the exhaust body would stay the same just slightly different internally. It's a very large exhaust so I couldn't see it needing to be bigger even for a 200cc.

Sounds very intriguing already how much are you looking at approx $€£ ? Cheers

@Scootjockey 330 Euro for the full system plus 35 euro shipping. No extra charges for import tax. Even though he sells them in Euros you have to do the conversion and do bank transfer in £. I got mine July and 330 was £274, it's £290 now so just keep an eye on the exchange rate and you can save a few ££. 4 weeks delivery. Get a mate who's on Facebook to contact him.
