    Hi, so I am currently in the procces of replacing my speedo (I need new speedo gear and wanted a digital one) on my 05 DT125X
    I am woreied beacuse I don't know what to do with temperature sensor and light
    Should I maybe just install small bulb somewhere or maybe to try to connect it to rpm gauge on my new speedo (I know it works based on resistance but not sure about speedo)
    Also thought cpnnecting it to check engine light on speedo but I wanted to connect oil level to it
    Generally im just asking for help, I started today and just connected high beam and speed sensor (magnet) and it works but I am not sure about other wires, there seems to be a wire that connects netrual, flasher and oil bulbs and I am mot sure if it ground or what (it's brown) I will also try to put wiring diagram up here

    Sorry for lenghty post, would very much appreciate any help

      @bird902

      I’d just install it somewhere first, get the speedo up & working then see if you can tie it into the speedo. If you can then all is well. If it doesn’t work you still have the original to fall back on…

      I’d love to find a buzzer that works with the temp sensor…

        I run a Vapor Trail unit and it can come with temperature senders that replace the Stock DTRE/X one.

        So in other words, buy clocks where you can keep all existing functionality.

          It’s always better to learn from other peoples mistakes than your own, I recon 🙂 …
