So after a long time looking and a trip up to Liverpool to see the bike. I had to give the bloke three hundred sheets a opportunity i couldn't say no to. After the long drive home here she is.

It has been stripped for a farm bike, I intend to re-build and restore her to her full road legal status.

Kettle on, work shop open and queue the music.
After a good jet wash it started to appear to be in a sorry state

It started becoming more apparent to me this bike has not been looked after or any general maintenance done. I proceeded to remove the engine from the frame and start the stripping down process. More damage became apparent fudged bolts, engine damage and parts just missing

Next out came the clutch and all the running gear. i think someone has been in here before. But i don't think they knew the difference between a hammer or a screwdriver.

I have to admit the clutch basket and most of the gearing came out with no problems. with the generator and flywheel out, off came the head and piston no problem.

It was time to remove the bolts and split the engine.............
Hang on there are only 5 bolts holding this thing together and they were fudged beyond belief, Get the drill out. drill and re tap lovely time for a brew and a think before i tackle that.
Right done engine split and i have to admit it is very clean inside

Anyway out came all the gears and dogs with the selector drum all the oil seals which means it is time for cleaning

As you can see in the pictures the engine is now clean and all damage repaired. nearly time for paint just a little more prep.

Right for some time i have been hunting for a rear mudguard for this bike. Cheapest i have found is around the £200 mark.......

Today just purchased one for a staggering 99p + £5.00 postage

What was the condition though? Obviously 200 new.

@Calum second hand slight damage but nothing that can't be sorted, also i can try to take a mold of it. Try and produce more.
