I just need to sort the electrixs out now, the last owner took it upon himself to remove the indictors and hide all the wires somewhere.
I don't like the idea of riding it on the road with no indicators as i'm sure the police will not take it lightly.wrote on 28 May 2017, 22:41 last edited by@dazzagtir It is not a legal requirement for bikes to have indicators. No just tape over the indicator buttons.
As said don't need indicators on bikes.
The other one is that Day Time MOT is no different from a full MOT. Same slip just in the notes it'll say no lights upon inspection. Literally no reason why you couldn't, although probably shouldn't, fit lights to it once it passes. And then don't have to be in at night.

Ahhh thats very interesting to know, certainly put my mind to rest knowing I can actually take it out for a ride. I have been avoiding riding it as much as possible.
I have ordered some cheap £6 ebay indicators this evening so when they arrive I will fit them.
I will however put some tape over my switch tomorrow just incase I do get pulled over. -

Indicators have never been a requirement, and I certainly don't have them on Enduro/Off-road bikes like the GasGas. Then it just becomes an inconvenience as the electrics add weight.
