wouldnt a tape measure or an engineers rule, to measure the width of the radiator core not been sufficient to see what size of automotive fan you need, be better than bodging computer components onto it?

@tunertom not really since I have neither of those but now I know the dimensions I need just in case I come across one

Norwp, I needed to make sure that I could physically mount it to the radiator aswell.
