Front brake support clip?

I tried to change pads when the whole caliper was not attached to forks and that way is pure nightmare!!! Do it when you have caliper bolted into forks! Open the slide "bolt" and turn the moving part about 180 degrees and it is much easier to change pads when they can lay on the brake disc! You need to squish the piston into bottom to make more room for new pads! If it keeps whine sound, the little metal spring part touches to the disc... Bend it a little bit so that it won't touch the disc anymore!

@jgr72 once i had the brake piston all connected to the forks this was the easiest pad change ever only reason i had it off was i was putting a new piston in the caliper. i feel like a right numb brain for wasting a good hour or two fiddle with them stupid clips though!

Yeah, I did exactly the same... I did not change the piston, I just used light sandpaper to take all shit away... Then I reassemble all togeteher with new rubber parts and thought it would be an easy job to put new pads while I have it in my hand But by doing you will learn
