Anyone know where I can get individual spokes for the rear wheel? I have 5 that I need to replace, and I don't fancy paying for a full set.
Thanks

On my first DT after several days of trying to remove the bolt, I eventually got it to budge by doing a continuous heat cycle on it, and going at it with a club hammer and drift. When you thinks it got to be hot enough by now...give it another couple of minutes with the blow torch.
Try a thin cutting disc on an angle grinder and carefully cut either side of the engine, I have done it a couple of times, it's quick and easy
Surely if you had called the police when you spotted the ad for your stolen bike, the police would have had to recovered your bike for you for free wouldn't they?
I unknowingly bought a stolen TS50 as a kid, the police took it off me, and the lad that I bought it from was told to give me my money back in installments (which he never did). I was totally gutted at the time, but at least the original owner got thier bike back.
You might want to keep the box/snorkel if you plan to go off road a lot, through fords etc, as cone filters and the like are not so great at keeping water out of your engine
I just order the full set up for a 3 power valve servo which wasn't cheap, so I'm well and truly back on it now! haha
Ok thanks bud
I've been out of the DT loop for to long i think...last i remember it was genuine or bust! Now a week after paying 30 odd quid for a gen head gasket, i find out that athena do one for a fraction of the price, and I have just found someone selling the copper ones for about the same price as the athena! ffs! Live and learn..
Anyone tried them? Any good?
Typical! I don't mind waiting tbf,as I have plenty of other bits and pieces to be getting on with for now.
Can I get the link please?
Anyone know what happened to the ebay seller in Portugal? I need a seat cover, and maybe more but, I can't find any that have Yamaha written on it that hasn't got seams
Thanks Calum, I'll shelve that idea for now then..
I remember reading a few years back about a 5 wire power valve servo being adapted for use on a 3 wire loom, or at least someone tried. Anyone know if it can be done, or have a link?
Thanks
Good stuff
I messaged him on the old forum, and thankfully he replied! He also asked for the new forum address, so hopefully he will be making an appearance soon
Does anyone know if Nev crossed over to this forum??
Not many left at all...Clicky
That would be nice, but i won't be getting my hopes up. It's a labour of love more then anything
Yeah i already have the v5 for the hybrid. The red one should be fine as the lad that i brought it from used to have it on the road, and i have his address, v5 is on order so i will find out soon enough with that one. The last one has numbers and the seller assured me that it can be re-registered, and gave me a full receipt and business card. So fingers crossed they will all come good, if not...well i guess that's the risk in buying these bikes cheap in poor condition. Besides i'm not the kind of guy that will just take a loss if anything goes wrong, I will hunt the fcukers down and get my money back! haha
