I'm sounding like a right wuss in my old age, I'm just going to go for it, might not even put the dep on if the bikes fun without, I never insured my old bike with the dep, I don't plan on riding like a fool, it's just to get me to work and back till I can do my full licence

@cyber-ninja I'm more concerned about whether the police can tell its full power, if they put the reg through the data base will it say

Probably sounds stupid as I would want to put a dep on a normal dtr anyway but would you be able to insure and get away with having a full power dtr

@cyber-ninja is this going to be a problem on a cbt licence, or it the same as having a dep pipe which you can't technically have either on cbt?

@terry-tz yeh hopefully, my lady has just passed her test at the age of 31 so she's pretty much taken the car from me so I need wheels sharpish lol

There doesn't seem to be many about that catch my eye, I might have to get one with a standard exhaust system and buy the dep separately, I've got my cbt on the 19th so want to have one before then if I can, but want the right bike for around 2k

Hmm I remember my friends older dtr had a full dep system, but it was only faster top end by around 5-10mph, mine did around 75mph. I can't wait to get one again

Unfortunately I've not got any photos I can find of it it was a great bike and I would have it back if I could. I remember seeing it outside of an Asda without the dep pipe on so must of had problems with it but not seen it since.

I'm after another dtr, I remember my old one being a lot of fun and quick enough, I think my old one was 2002 it only had the back tail dep but if I buy a 1998 will it be the same or different?
