Sounds like way too much air. Tell me does it sound quite deep when you rev it.

In neutral after its warm, when you blip the throttle does it respond instantly.

Says aww 99 octane fuel killed my bike. Uhmm no mate, you can clearly here the snorkel is not in the air box. Clear as day. I don't understand why people remove them lol

@Calum a little bit like that , will have to try and get a video up of it , have to slip the clutch to get it to pull then seems fine , hasn't got great response when revving from idle ,

Sounds to me like too much air, or the air flow is stalling.

Make sure the snorkel is in there and that there are no sharp turns in the inlet Tracy. It's the bend into the air box that stalls air flow. Hence why snorkels are a must.

ok had another play today got it running a little better screwed the choke cable right in which made it pull off better still a little lumpy at about 20 to 30 mph gona try a new air filter which might help , tried running with no filter just the box but that didn't help made it worse at least it can pull away now will have to try more once its run in , a few pics of the air box set up and the plug , does the plug look normal ?

Cool, snorkel is there. If taking The filtration out makes it worse, then it's getting too much air and not enough fuel. If you max out the idle screw movement then you will need to go up a jet size.

I have posted a carb tuning tutorial on this forum that will help sort it.

If it runs fine with wide open throttle, then you can leave the main jet well alone.

I shall have a read of that , the jets are whats recommended for full power nsr, once its run in il take for another spin to see how it run coz asking my son I might as well ask my dog , dog probs knows more and would get a clearer answer lol

Yeah mate. Start with what's recommended and work from there.

Remember fuel quality, air temperature and the quality of the components will play it's own part in jetting. Highly strung two strokes are more effected by these changes than less tuned bikes.
