I'd consider that pretty cheap if it all works. And it's a worth while thing having.

However, before you make the plunge, pin the valve and ride around like that.

You might find you're not that bothered, in which case you can just leave it like that.

@calum I have ridden pinned the entire summer. Not sure why everyone seems to enjoy it. Considerably harder riding the rear wheel etc

@irongamer727 Hmm, depends what sort of riding you do. Makes no difference at all if you're riding around the back lanes, since the valve should be open by 6k, and you don't ride two strokes like four strokes. But for commuting, what the bike was designed for, yeah I'd rather a valve.

@calum such a pity just wasting my servo. It looks brand new, everything else works etc. This must have happened to more than me?

@irongamer727 Somnething has obviously caused it to fail. So I would check the rest of the powervalve before installing a new one, otherwise it might just happen again

@calum I have a new cylinder kit. The previous had one ruined exhaust port.

@irongamer727 Cool? But what I am saying is, they don't just break under normal usage. Something caused it to break. So be sure you check this when you get a new one.

@calum what could possibly destroy the inside of the servo? If not used wrong.

@irongamer727 if the power valve was incorrectly setup, it could have caused the valve to jam in the exhaust port. If the motor is forcing it to pull one way, it could have destroyed the cogs.

I lkterally don't know, you will simply have to investigate. But the fact that you said you had it apart leads me to suspect that.

@calum could be cables too tight putting too much torque on the cogs,@Irongamer727 I’ve saw an entire pv pulley set up on eBay for 45 pound it’s really cheap
