    Same mechanically, some tend to be restricted in funny ways depending what country they originate from. Physically smaller than the jc20, easier to work on though as the fuel tank hinges up.

      I picked this 2000 model Foxeye RR up the other week, never took it flat out but it seemed pretty quick and pulled well for a 125, I sold it 5 mins after getting it out of the van for 1500 quid as is but I liked it. If I was looking for a 125 road bike i would have one now worries, it started 1st push of the button everytime and was a quality engineered bike but its a Honda so you kind of expect it. The bike is now in Tony Armes Motorcycles in Hartlepool for sale if anyone is looking for one, that who I sold it to.

        @mitch_350z The 2007 models are widely different handling characteristics to the older ones. Revised frame, subframe, forks, wheels and ignition.

        They won't be 33bhp, but they'll be the closest thing you'll get to them out the factory.

        PJME have a tuned 140cc Aprilia RS 125 on the dyno on YouTube that made 25 bhp, the stock cylinder made closer to 26 with small power band.

        But that was at the wheel. Impressive figures for a 125 road going bike nevertheless.

        Ive got a well i should say had a pristine 2001 KMX with a stock motor making 19 at the rear wheel on the dyno just with jetting Boyessens and a Giannelli and people say they are slow.

          @scrimsmustang A pipe can make a big difference, especially if the stock system is restricted. Good figures though. I had a mate who had a 1999 KMX and he couldn't keep up with my bog standard DTRE (green and black wire earthed), and I wouldn't call the RE a quick bike.

            They are all far from superbikes aint they, an re with wire earthed and the stock pipe binned is as quick as an old dtr i would say though from the few ive had over the years.

                          @dtr-nsr hehe not changed yet. I have 137 and 140 at home. Somewhere there I guess. That's what Romeu recommended. What are you running?

                            I've found the jet upgrade kit dellorto sells, works well with the later barrel like yours will have. 138 main, 65 power and 42 idle jet.

                                  When I was running my nsr richer it was easy to start didn't even need choke. But since running it on leaner jetting it takes abit of tweaking but is loads livelier on the road.

                                    @dtr-nsr does your have a lot of low end power? Mine doesn't, but at 8-12k rpm it moves!
                                    Sixth gear is really not useful. Going 80km/h in sixth gear and twist the throttle nothing happens. Sounds familiar?

                                      I wouldn't say alot, but it noticeably improved with leaner jetting. Like you say power really comes in about 8krpm. Mine easily pulls to 80mph, you have to take it to the redline in 5th before changing into 6th and be well tucked in for it to pull in 6th I've found.

                                        @dtr-nsr happy to hear. I didn't redline in 5th at around 120 km/h and when I changed gear I lost everything 😛
