I run the dellorto VHSA carb on my DT.

It's a 32mm carb found commonly on lambrettas. So lots of jets and spares.

But most importantly, it was found on the TZR 125 RR Belgarda engines. Which is basically a DT 125 RE Engine. It's idential in fact, just made by motoriminerelli

I dont know the best carb for the engine, i would want to say however that alot of people ive been in touch with have had good experiences with the chinese replica carbs that can be found on ebay including myself, however if your not willing to take the gamble then i probably wouldnt recommend them for you, cant be 100% sure that what comes out of those factories is always gonna be fully up to spec

@declan yeah my experience with them is the same, thought id post it because some people might not give them a chance because of the price compared to the branded ones that are 3x or 4x the price and think the replicas must be shit since theyre way cheaper and come straight from china, but so far ive heard nothng but good about them so if your looking at a new carb they seem to be a great option

Been thinking of getting myself a replica TM30ss/TM32SS. The angled spigot as taught to me by darty is very helpful if you do any sort of off roading with your bike. However I certain can’t justify £150+ until I know the setup works very well
