@finchfocker Yeah, I heard it's effectively a stroked 125. But that's good.
That's kinda what I want out of my DTR.
My RS is a screamer and I love that, but that goes with the geometry etc.

@finchfocker COOL post a vid for us dude.

@finchfocker Sorry still no sound and I still cannot believe that you won that in a raffle, most of those are just scams!

Looks great! Bet that's fun to ride with the bigger engine and upgraded cycle parts.
-
i still cant believe it either, i traveled 3.5 hours to pick it up too, if your on facebook join sone of the DT pages and you can find the build proccess on there, may even still have the video of the live draw

@rking7888 you can buy them for the 230 from Japan - have a look on yahoo-auctions and set up an account if you want to bid (expensive but gets you loads of JDM parts)

@nottsbiker
Cheers mate I'll look in to it, is the lanza frame identical to the 125? I was hoping some early yz ones would go on as they seem to be easy to get hold of and a fraction of the price, and the ones on the 230 in the pic look like there from a 90s yz or something. -
@rking7888 the 125x/re are very similar to the 230 with a few changes like ally swingarm, twin rads, headlight etc. I think that the 230 is the top of the range if you like
Regarding the frames the dt200wr was meant to be a soft-enduro and so the frame is borrowed (not 100%) from the yz's where as the 125/230 is a trail bike and used the dt frame from around '88 with only minor mods across its life span
