Hi guys I know this topic has already been talked about but a definitive answer and it's own thread would help, is it possible to completely block off the warming hose outlets from the head by just screwing bolts in with a copper washer, I was always under the impression that it needed to be a loop otherwise the coolant couldn't transfer round the head properly but now I'm not sure, they're in the way of my fuel tank on my engine conversion bike and it would be ideal to have them completely blanked off

Blanked off this in every two stroke Yamaha I've ever owned and never had any problems, but have had a BWS carb ice and that made for an interesting ride 😉
