athena 170 jetting

hi, i have a dt125 with 170cc athena kit, i put a gianelli exhaust and 30mm carb, what main jet should i put? Airbox is stock withaout this rubber thing

Why do people obsess over main jets? Why would the mixture need to be richer? Unless you’re deleting the air box. Then it’d need tweaking from the pilot/mixture up, not just the main jet. Surely?...
