I have a TDR 125 1993 4FU 12000km bought it a month or so ago.
Hope is to find some help here as I do any work on it.
Is there a specific TDR area to post in or does it not matter.

Oh welcome. Definitely get some photos up, not too many TDR Owners on here so it would make for a nice change.
Yeah there is not email mechanism set up so don't expect any sort of verifications.
I hear really good things about the TDR250, but having a nosey at the 125 would definitely be interesting.

But since they share a lot of similar components, anywhere with the right relevance is sufficient.

You’re not alone I’ve just bought a French import 30k on the clock a couple of weeks ago, still got to get a UK reg plate for it. The paperwork says it’s a 98 model and the guy I bought it from has already paid the vat and it’s in the Nova system. There’s not a lot needs done to it to get it through an MOT, But it’s gonna have to wait till next year as I’ve got too much on at the moment. And reading through some of the websites the barrels and pistons are totally different to the DT and TZR which is going to make next year exciting times. Good luck with your bike ! -
Every new piston I’ve brought for my Dtr has been a 3mb TZR piston. As long as the bore size matches the Dtr barrel, then all the porting/cut-outs and ring pins are in proper places ...
TDR pistons however are totally different ...
