I will buy a new plug tomorrow but to be honest I dont think ive ever seen a healthy blue spark.!
Which means if its electrical it could be the plug, HT lead/cap, coil, CDI, earth... think of anymore.? 😂

To be honest I dont think ive taken a photo of it since I bought it a few days ago.

Its abit of a sh*t box to be honest, its seen better days and looks more like a "rat look" not by choice but by lack of maintenance. 😂

Actually theres a picture I took when i was pushing it home. 😂

15 second Video I made of when I first started the bike immediately after the rebuild, seems to be running perfectly healthy from what I can see and hear.

Ive just chucked it onto youtube so you can watch it. 👍

I pushed it roughly 4 miles.
I have access to a van but that day someone else was using it so I opted to just lug it home.
I was abit tired at the end but no dramas. 😂
Paid £550 and it also came with a set of knobbly tyres too.
The road tyres are brand new, MOT until December I think.

Ive had it about 5 days now.
                I bought it broken.
Rebuilt the top end and then covered 2.3 miles and back to square 1 again.!
I couple of minutes I was riding it, I was riding like a granny because of the rebuild and didn't get past a few thousand RPM so didn't get to enjoy that nostalgia feeling of power valve kicking in. 😂

@dazzagtir honestly I went easy for for about 40 mins and then started taking it up to 7k let the power get there then Change and it seems fine that's how I'm riding it some do hundreds of miles of easy riding but I worked hard on it and want to enjoy it and enjoying it Iam.

Lol, If I manage to get it going again I will do some more easy riding as ive owned 2 strokes in the past and ive also killed 2 strokes in the past.
I am happy to sit easy for a few hundred miles and open her up occasionally.
I cant wait to get it up amd running again and hit the road in the sun. 🌞

Nice @dazzagtir. I would sort out the oil before you do anything else. Don't want to be running more oil than you need as it can easily choke up the spark plug, especially when idling. Bleed the pump and use that, or disconnect it for now if you haven't already and just run premix.

Bike sounds good though in that vid 👍

Is ir running a snorkel? Sounds like it hesitated slightly.

You are going to need a nice clean spark if you want it running right. With that in mind I have always used iridium plugs, grab yourself a new coil and HT Lead as these are really cheap to replace and see if it's any better.

If it's still not happy then you will want to check the rectifier. Impedance test through the coil and make sure the pick up is receiving a signal.

Side stand switches can fail which will also cause rhe CDI to not spark. It's a Normally open circuit so if you bypass it you need to.complete the circuit. If that doesn't work then it might be the CDI

                            Thanks for the replies guy.
Ive just taken the carb to pieces and rebuilt it again with the new rubber gasket in place.
It all seemed fine when I connected it until I turned the fuel on and the fuel just went straight into the carb and straight back out the over flow.? Litterally poured out as quickly as it was going in.
Ive since turned it off and on again and its now stopped.... must have been the float sticking.?
Ive just taken the coil off and used a multimeter to it, ive set the multimeter to 200 ohms and i'm getting a reading of 01.1/01.3.

HT lead set on 20k ohms is reading 10.70

Does that sound like a fault coil.?

                            Thanks in advance.

@dazzagtir Sounds like the float valve isn't shutting the fuel off properly bud.

Regarding the lack of spark, ive just got back from the closest parts store and they tested my coil, lead and cap and said they were all perfectly fine.
Any idea what else could be causing a lack of spark/?
I have the CDI in my hand but I do not know how to test it.?
                                  Thanks for all your help.

                                    Right.....

                                    Ive got the bike going..!
Sounds healthy enough, no fuel leaking anymore either.
                                    HOWEVER.....
I just took it out for a ride about 5 miles in total, it doesn't seem to tick over very well, it runs correctly with the choke on but not very well with the choke off.
(I'm guessin choke on is up and choke off is down?)
The revs can be controlled using the idle screw on the carb when the choke is on, however if you turn the choke off is revs higher and cant be adjusted with the screw...?? Abit weird.

When riding along, pull the clutch in the change gear and the revs creep up and you get abit of a (I look like I cant ride a bike moment when you release the clutch because the revs are high)

Also when stopping the bike the revs creep up and rev high like i'm being impatient.!

Is this something someone has experienced before and found the answer to.?

Atm I'm guess the throttle cable may need replacing perhaps.

                                    Thanks.

@dazzagtir I was experiencing simmilar things with my freshly rebutilt bike it seemed to be the throttle cable pulling slightly which threw all the other adjustments off check this as I tried hours on end and this sorted it
