    Anyone have a rough idea of how much a complete engine + carb would weigh? I am guessing around 30kg mark? I am looking to get one shipped but need an idea of the weight.

      I'd say 30kg would give you a bit to spare. Can't give you an exact figure though unfortunately.

        Yeah it's around the 30Kg mark. Cost me around a tenner to ship an engine.

        Make sure it's drained of oil before shipping and ensure it's well wrapped!

        Give it a nice strong base with an arrow pointing upwards as you don't want it rolling round in transit.

        On engines I've received, I've had the oil pump cover crack, as this is a weak spot for them since they're plastic.
