    Hello guys finally got my dt finished went to take it for mot today and had a bit of a problem 1st 2nd and 3rd power valve kicks in no problem but in the rest of the gears absolutely nothing struggling to even do 30 and theirs also a lot of black shit coming out my exhaust 1_1497626924610_IMG_3405.JPG 0_1497626924596_IMG_3404.JPG

        That's way too excessive for two stroke.

        It looks watery.

        That could be gearbox oil....

          No I don't premix mate it's on the pump and the pumps all good but when riding povervalve won't kick in past 3rd gear won't even go past 35mph and almost dies up hill

            @vtrn_raptor then I would say it's burning up your gearbox oil

                  Probably the crankshaft seal on the gearbox.

                  Unfortunately this one is a engine out cases split jobby to do it properly. Although I heard someone do it in situe, but I wouldn't recommend it.

                  Quick way to test to see if it's gearbox oil is to set fire to it.

                  If it burns black then it's gearbox oil, if it burns blue two stroke.

                  As said, the watery nature of it tells me it's gearbox,.

                    @Calum also If you look close it looks a slight shade of gold whereas 2 stroke is black alll the way through so +1 on gearbox oil
