        @declan just fitted a new fuel tap hoping it would fix it but seems to have not I rode it the other day and it was stuttering at 7and8k although when riding it does ride as normal other than the problem above do reeds have a break in period

          @declan Not that I am aware of.

          I don't think rev'ing it to the red line is going to help/prove anything.

          It's not a realistic representation of how the engine is going to operate, since there is no load on the engine.

          If the engine is struggling to pull, it's either a weak engine, incorrect fueling or weak spark.

                It's possible then, that those reeds are not helping.

                I can't say I red line mine at all, the power curve drops off and it is more perform-ant to change gear. It's not worth the added wear and tear at those RPM's

                  @calum so shall I just try using it then since I’ve only rode it for a few minutes?

                    @calum my power comes on really high up the revs and being restricted my rev band isn’t large like yours might be

                      It's not a crosser, I can't say my powerband is exactly savage. It comes on nicely and pulls to the red line, but it's derestricted and modified.

                      Yours presumably is still restricted and modified.

                      SO any modifications are likely to push the powerband up further, not great if your bike is restricted to a lower RPM. A Zeeltronic is a must if you want to tune these bikes.

                        @calum I’d be happy with just a de restriction but the code you asked me to get off the cdi has rubbed off so I got no idea how to do it do you think that a garage could figure it out?

                          @declan No I do not.

                          The plug types are probably different. One had 3 wire servos, the other used 5 wire servos.

                                I'll say that again, three wire servos are the newer models, the older 5 wire servos ran a separate controller.

                                Therefore yours is probably newer, probably a 3RM
