Change brake hoses, service intervals

According to the service manual, you should change the brake hoses every six years, no matter the condition. How many of you guys do that?

@finnerz89 yeah.

I Agree with calum.

Brake hoses can deteriorate over time, especially if you live in a harsh climate. However the OEM lines are pretty durable and as others have stated they do last for many years. So long as they look good with no bulges, partial splits or cracking, which will all effect brake pressure and the feel of the pedal, (due to different internal dimensions of the hose), they should be fine. Braided hoses do look sweet and have added protection over OEM hoses, with the steel braiding.
Personally for peace of mind I would renew or upgrade them. When it comes to emergency braking, you always want your brakes to be 100% overall !!!

@irongamer727 I had the Wezmoto lines on my DTR and they were good. The Hel, EBC and Goodridge ones are also good brands too.
