So I have an issue. I managed to break my original Honda fuel hose, no big deal I thought, I got fuel hoses at home.

That was until I realised the original hose has one end measuring 8mm inner diameter and the other end 11 or 12mm.

So the 8mm hose fits well on one side, but is dangerously squeezed on the other. (Used a heatgun to get it on the other side).

The original hose is like very stretchable whilst all the hoses I find for sale is just very stiff. Hence why it is a nightmare to pull on and off.

What should I do? Is there hoses out there with a different inner diameter on both ends?

    Thanks

@Irongamer727 It's most likely an OEM part so will be a Honda main dealer order in jobby? Or maybe your local Pirtek may be able to knock something up for you???

@NINJA yeah sure i could get an OEM replacement. Not sure £40 is worth it though. Must be some good stretchable hose out there

@Irongamer727 Stretching a hose to fit will eventually cause it too split and leak. As I said "maybe your local Pirtek may be able to knock something up for you???"

@NINJA I've looked almost everywhere. I mean that most hoses today are like made up of two layers, with like some lacing inside. The OEM one is thinner and originally flexible.

@Irongamer727 What you need is this fuel hose, it is not cloth reinforced and will stretch. It is not the kind of rubber that you can heat up but is actualy fuel injection hose but will stretch to the size you need, just put a bit of WD40 on it or a dab of oil and it will wiggle on. Used it myself so know will do the job.
