      Just bought a 1989 DT125RE 25 years since I owned the same colour and year bike. Needs some cosmetic work but looking forward to tinkering

        DTRE? Or DTR. DTRE's were only made from 2004-2007 where the DTR Range was discontinued.

        I'm sure it's a DTR, which is a cool bike.

        I do want an 89 one day!

          EUROPE models did electric start from the beginning 88 onwards. Weird right but that's what all dtr have the blanked off electric start parts

              In europe DTRs with the optional electric start were known as a DTRE, although obviously not the remodel of 2004 🙂
